Rob DeFriese
I’m a Phoenix-based singer/songwriter, vocalist, bassist, and guitarist, performing original music as a solo artist. I write songs that reflect real life—its joys, its struggles, and everything in between—because I want people to feel seen and connected. My music ranges from upbeat and optimistic to dark, brooding, or quietly reflective, depending on the story the song needs to tell. Above all, I hope my work reminds people they’re not alone and inspires a little more understanding and awareness in the world… one song at a time.

Nitehawk Diner
Doug, Mike, and Kirk have been making music together—on and off—since the mid-1970s. They first played across Arizona as Nitehawk Diner, a country-rock band featuring Mike’s standout fiddle work, Doug’s lead vocals and rhythm guitar, and Kirk’s signature lead guitar solos. Mike was even the Arizona State Champion Trick and Fancy Fiddler during that era.Their twin-lead arrangements, tight harmonies, and easy camaraderie became the band’s trademark sound. Though Nitehawk Diner eventually lost its original drummer and bassist, the core trio has continued to reunite over the years, and they still enjoy performing together whenever they get the chance—keeping the spirit of those early days alive.

Jerry Scarsbrook
Jerry Scarsbrook's journey is a testament to the power of music and the enduring spirit of the Southwest. Arriving at Luke AFB in 1970 as an airman with the 541st Air Force Band, he quickly fell in love with Arizona and made it his home. He married a Glendale native, raised three children, and built a life here. But music was always his undercurrent. Inspired by the folk scene of the 60s, Jerry picked up a guitar and began writing songs, his early Arizona years (the 70s) filled with gigs in local haunts – dive bars, hotel lounges along Central Ave, and even a stint at the Opry House in the now-legendary Legend City. As life unfolded, his music took a backseat to family and career. However, in 2020, after 46 years of marriage, Jerry faced the loss of his beloved wife. Coupled with the stillness of the pandemic lockdowns, this loss reignited his passion for music. Now retired and residing in Goodyear, Jerry is fully immersed in creating and performing, expressing his gratitude for the supportive Phoenix music community. His songs are a reflection of his life, his love for Arizona, and the stories he's collected along the way. Don't miss the opportunity to experience the heartfelt music of Jerry Scarsbrook.

Their background and influences are individually as diverse as the music they play together.
Ant Bee, classically trained, plays cello, stand-up and fretless 5-string bass, and from time to time picks up an accordion.
Odie Piker, whose background is in rock, is a fine songwriter, moving freely among guitar, mandolin, bazooki, and banjo and taking on most of the lead singing.
Jim Sallis has behind him forty years of country blues and bluegrass, as well as years of playing steel guitar in Texas country bands; with the Dog he plays guitar, Dobro, mandolin, harmonica, banjo and fiddle.
In a single set you may hear Civil War-era songs, blues, vintage country, Cajun, calypso, gospel, jazz, swing, and originals that sound like all those.
